Another week has begun in right earnest. This week has two public holidays viz Mahavir Jayanti on the 7th of April and Good Friday on the 10th of April. Irrespective of these holidays, the fight against the pandemic continues across the world.

There is a clutter of news from across; surprisingly, there is no single agency is speaking with facts and without clutter. One area where everyone seems to be doing their bit is about donning masks and washing hands a feet. Thankfully, there is unity on this element even in the western world.

The murmurs around role of WHO, its chief Dr. Tedros, and acts of praising China to the skies have grown. THe President of the US has rightfully called for a review of the funding of the global health organization in view of the role played by it during the course of the pandemic.

Work continues unabated with the slow realization that one is expected to be online more than ever. On normal work days in the work place, coming home meant disconnecting. Here, disconnecting means, out for a lunch break, water break, even a dinner break and of course a trip to the store for stocking up on essentials.

Unknowingly, the afternoon lunch sessions claimed me on the first day of the week. A heavy lunch, empty couch, turned a 10 minute rest in to a 45 min nap. Consequence – missed a conference call. We are Human after all!

Morning Shambhavi Maha Mudra Kriya sessions have been extremely helpful in maintaining concentration and energy levels. Surya Namaskar is great for pumping the heart rate up, feeling light and keeping all the limbs flexible. The only thing missing at the moment is plenty of sunlight.

Preparing for a curtailed week but one in which a lot of action can happen.
